If you have solar panels, CertiQ can certify your green electricity

By generating green electricity you are contributing to mitigating climate change. So the government encourages this form of electricity generation through subsidies. Those who own or are planning to install solar panels may be eligible for a subsidy.

First submit your application for a subsidy
To find out whether you are eligible for a subsidy, contact Agentschap NL. Then you can submit your application for the SDE+ subsidy.

Proof required for the subsidy
Once you have received approval from Agentschap NL for subsidies under the SDE or SDE+ scheme, you must prove that you are indeed generating green electricity. That is where CertiQ comes into the picture. We certify your green electricity by issuing Guarantees of Origin (GO) certificates in your name, which provide the proof needed for the subsidy. These certificates are generated in digital form, not actually printed. You can read more about how to register your generating capacity with CertiQ here.
