Information about the reporting obligation

Which energy source do you use?

Solar power, Wind power, Water power, Fossil with 1 fuel type, or Geothermal energy

You do not need to hand in reports or measurement values. 

Other Biomass or Fossil fuel with more than 1 fuel type

You have to hand in:

1. A monthly statement. 
You need to hand in the fuel percentages in MyCertiQ and, if applicable, also the NTA codes.

2. An assurance report
This has to be checked by an accountant and has the deadline of 30th April. 

 

Waste with subsidies for efficiency

You need to hand in:

1. A measurement protocol.
This needs to be handed in together with your registration and needs to be handed in every five years. When changes are made, a new measurement protocol needs to be handed in. 

2. A measurement report
This needs to be handed in quarterly and not later than 2 months after the last production month. This can also be handed in monthly. A measurement report has to be signed by the metering company.

Waste with no subsidies for efficiency

You do not have to hand in reports or measurement values.

I use 100% sustainable biomass as input

You need to hand in:

1. A measurement protocol. 
This needs to be handed in together with your registration and needs to be handed in every five years.

2. A measurement report

This needs to be handed in every year and not later than 2 months after the production month. A measurement report has to be signed by the metering company.

I do NOT use 100% sustainable biomass as input

You need to hand in:

1. A measurement protocol. 
This needs to be handed in together with your registration and needs to be handed in every five years.

2. A monthly statement. 
You need to hand in the fuel percentages in MyCertiQ and, if applicable, also the NTA codes.

3. A measurement report

This needs to be handed in every year and not later than 2 months after the production month. A measurement report has to be signed by the metering company.

Biogas with a registered capacity larger than 2 MW

This also applies if you have multiple production installations that are smaller than 2 MW, but in total the capacity is larger than 2 MW.
